It was a cute and very quick read. Aislinn a previous army specials fighter was thrown back in time to meet up with the very handsome and sexy Lachlan. When Aislinn arrived in Scotland, Lachlan was in the middle of a fight with 6 others so Aislinn got out her own weapons and helped. The story is written lightly with humor. Aislinn is a likable heroine that swears, wears men clothes, likes to fight but has a soft heart. This is not a serious time travel story where you are worried about the history but one that you get caught up in the love story. The chemistry between the two was hot with their first sex scene a very modern take on sex. That is, Aislinn had the foresight to pack her vibrator! Aislinn and Lachlan then start spending more time together and start to fall in love. Lachlan was previously betrothed and once Aislinn found this out, she certainly was not happy. Even though this book is not up to the high standard of a really well written time travel romance, it was fun and sexy.Product details

Aggressive woman, warrior in our time, out of place 600 years earlier. Funny yet with some get real moments. I don't get why she keeps thinking it's all a dream. Why does one keep fighting reality. Well written and put together nicely. Too aggressive for my taste.
It was pretty good story. How the time travel actually happened was not100% clear, but once the character was in Scotland, it was a great story and some of it was quite surprising. It was a very nice read and provided the Calgon effect of taking me away from troubles to a place of hunks with daggers and broadswords!
Such a fabulous and romantic read. Aislynn was such a strong and independent woman. Lachlan had no idea what to do with her. She definitely didn't back down
This was a cute light read with a HEA yay. From being a team player in the army to being a place going back in time I must be dreaming. To fine the love of your life you must be dreaming. Love the story line never thought about the balance between spaces. have to check out the other side.
Hmm a continuation from the first...which I liked, *SPOILER* except the killing off of a few characters..which now made the first one not so HEA. I liked that the female character was strong..but again not a lot of depth for either the male or female characters. I get my HEA at the end. All in all, like the first in the series, not a bad read.
Absolutely amazing with a couple of Laugh out loud moments. Absolutely loved how she got a second chance at life in a new time and place. It's the ultimate adventure. A must read.
Cabbie Zanders has a gift for writing and pulling you along. Her forewarning about what is about to happen is right on the money. If you have read other time travel stories this one will fit in quite nicely. When Lachlan Brodie finds her paperback Highlander novel he finds out who Aislinn thinks who he is. My only complaint is I would love to see more thought in to additional fighting scenes and use of modern idioms and updating 21st century weaponry since Aislinn's background tells the reader she has such knowledge.
